Anime Expo (AX), America's premiere event for anime and manga, was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center July 1st - 4th. On the first day of festivities, in attendance were Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa as well as the popular Japanese idol group and honorary ambassadors to the convention, AKB48, who dazzled fans at their performance at the Nokia Theatre. |
